I nicked a couple of halberds from the Rattay armoury tower, and for some reason I can't place them in my storage chest at Rattay Mill. They're quite heavy, so that's a bit annoying. I also can't sell them to Miller Peshek since he doesn't have enough money for one, never mind two of them (each is worth 1000 gold).
