St. George's Sword is a Weapon in Kingdom Come: Deliverance.
The longsword of St. George is the best the 15th century blacksmith's art can produce. A beautifully balanced sword, it's ornamented sharp blade and piercing point can deal with any plate armour. The blade is fragile though, and must be kept maintained. Apart from its combat qualities, the sword is a status symbol for the upper classes.

- Might encounter a group of Bandits if traveling North from Ledetchko
- Carried by Sir Hans Capon (Patched)
- Found in the trunk with Sir Hans Capon's belongings at the bathhouse, during the quest "Next to Godliness" ( Patched)

Just got it from Sir Hans' chest at the start of "Clothes make the man" quest. I believe this might be a glitch, because for some reason Sir Hans refused to put any clothes on and walked around in his underwear for the entirety of the mission.

No longer in Sir Hans' chest in the bathhouse during his quest. Looked 26.03.2018, Game started 25.03.2018. Latest Patch (1.3.4). Tested on PC.

I stole this sword from Sir Hans while we were in the bath house. That was before the latest patch 1.3 I believe.

Despite the Neuhof chest, the Ledetchko Chest is the treasure of Treasure Map VII, which is hidden in Sasau Monastery, So I'd say this ought to be a pretty late game stuff, the strawberry atop the cake.

Just stumbled on this and a few other goodies in a small unmanned camp on the road North-East of Neuhof.
The chest was unlocked, and on top of St. Gerorge's Sword, it contained a Noble Sword, and a Raven's Beak, as well as some top-tier armor a-la Arching Bascinet, and a some Magdeburg armor pieces.
There was also a Bouche Shield leaning on the chest.

Check up on Hans after the hunting incident and you'll get a new quest. He puts his outfit and sword into a chest where you're free to STEAL it all. (PS4)

Sir Hans as the Merchant's Sword on PS4, not St. George's. The chest north east of Neuhof is a very hard lock as well on PS4. Looks like this is only lootable from that chest or Hans on PC

Sir Hans does not have the sword on PS4, he has the Merchant's Sword. The chest is a very hard lock as well on PS4. It seems that everyone finding/looting this sword is on PC

found this in a chest in a camp on the road between the forests north of Neuhof, alongside good armour pieces. If loot is not random, then it's obtainable at all times whic means you can get the (imo) best longsword in the game very early on, of course it also has the highest strength requirement.

I think it's a bug that you can so easily take the sword and his cloths. I don't think you should be able to get it.
