8) Will there be classes in the game?

The simple answer is no. However, you will have the choice to play like a knight, thief, or a bard and more. Think of it like Skyrim: you gain experience based on what you do/how you play. You play like a thief for one quest and then you play like a knight and wipe everyone out for the next quest.

For more about our combat system, the weapons, and how it works, go HERE

Around 50. A thorough play-through can be 100+.

16) Is there multiplayer?

KC:D is a single-player focused experience only.

17) Will there be VR support?

While our game does actually work with VR, we had to focus all of our efforts into the final build of the game. One issue we were having is trying to avoid motion sickness, especially when you're on a horse!

18) What happens when you beat the game?

Well, we don't want to give away any spoilers here, but the good news is that you will be able to play after the game is completed: side quests, exploring, etc

19) Will multiple playthroughs be needed in order to experience everything the game has to offer?

This is correct. The choices that you make will decide what cutscenes are unlocked, which achievements are unlocked, as well as skill-based upgrades and stats. You have to make hard decisions at times, which will be different for each playthrough for each individual.

20) Can you customize Henry?

You can change your clothing and armor and stats, but beyond that, Henry will be Henry. Our game is very story-driven, and Henry has a very important part to play, so we want everyone to get a good idea of how he matures throughout the game. You will make your own decisions and different cut-scenes will unlock based on your choices, but the theme of the game will remain the same.

21) Will there be factions that you can join in the game?

In general, no. However, there will be options to do quests with different groups, but it is not very similar to Skyrim.

22) How many castles are there and will we be able to enter them?

There are 4 castles, but you can enter 3 of them. You also enter churches and monasteries, as they are smaller fortresses, in essence.

23) Is there a day/night cycle?

Yes. 96 minutes or so.

Long Swords, bastard swords, short swords, daggers, axes, maces, polearms, hammers, shields, and bows. Fisticuffs is also an option.

28) Will there be modding support for release?

Modding support will be discussed post-release.

29) Will there be blood, gore or dismemberment?

We had considered some levels of gore (realistic, not over-the-top). Blood will be there, which is a key feature in combat. You will get signals letting you know that he is wounded/deeply hurt. Keep in mind that it is nearly impossible to dismember a guy wearing a ring mail. It is also technically very challenging due to our cloth layers system.

30) So how do the 3 Acts work? Will there be 3 separate games?

When we first started making KCD, we had planned on making 3 separate games. However, our first game got big pretty fast, so we decided to put them together. We will discuss more about our plans for the future after release!

31) Will WHS be using Denuvo?

No, we won't be using Denuvo

32) Why would I want to buy Kingdom Come: Deliverance?

There is no magic, fantasy, and dragons. You can choose to fight your way through most of the game or you can get through roughly 75% of our game without killing a single person. Our combat is based on HEMA (Historical European Martial Arts) and there are over 4 hours of cutscenes, but not all will be unlocked based on the choices that you make. You can choose to play the game how you'd like, per every quest: be a warrior, a bard, a thief, a nobleman, a seducer, etc Sometimes, you can even have 4-5 options to choose for each quest. The game is a gorgeous looking game and the immersion is bar-none

Oblivion, Ishar, Fallout, Darklands, Skyrim, Witcher, Dark Souls.

34) Will there be microtransactions?

No

35) Will there be DLC?

Hi Let me start by saying you have created a truly beautiful game but I'm having an issue in that after i complete the quest where i give my Henry;s father the charcoal, hilt and ale my game will begin skipping cutscenes and jumping me straight into the next part of gameplay. I brought this game due to the huge amount of story and expected to have a great time playing and watching this with my partner but we were very disappointed when it started skipping. I have uninstalled the game and all save files and reinstalled it but had the same issue... Is this something that is being worked on as i did a quick search and found that this has been an issue since March/April last year?

Mind fixing the random encounters? It's played hell with my experience? All I ever encountered between quests was truly I think a freak accident of a Cuman camp. Otherwise splendid campaign. I bought a full priced copy for a veteran friend of mine. (he needs escapism more than I do)

The clipping issues with some kinds of armor should be noted. Also cutscenes could be tweaked. I've built some user created content myself for games like Arma I know the bugs are hell. I've run through this site and noticed a few ?? and missing content here. Truly fine work though. Great choice on graphic engine.

I loved the fact most situations could be resolved peacefully. (naturally I wanted to stab my way through it)

Do fix random encounters ASAP. That's a major problem.
