The Good Thief is a Quest in Kingdom Come: Deliverance. Miller Peshek and his niece, Theresa, took care of me while I was at death's door. I owe them my life.

The Good Thief Objectives

1. Talk to Miller Peshek

The Good Thief Walkthrough

You can either pay Miller Peshek or you can get his ring back. If you chose to get the ring, you'll need to get the spade that is resting against a cart to the right of where you exit the house. When you get to the destination near the gallows, dig up the corspe and then head back to Peshek. He will teach you Lockpicking and give you a lockpick. It is recommended you don't try to pick the chest, but just skip it to save your lockpick.

Then head back to the hill and rob Executioner Hermann of the ring. It's located inside the house, so you can either Lockpick your way in or wait for Executioner Hermann to go inside or just come out. You can persuade him to leave if you have high enough Speech. If you need to Lockpick the door I recommend saving here as you will need to do this door and a chest inside. Once inside head through the door on your left and Lockpick the chest here to find the ring, then return to Miller Peshek. Try to avoid Executioner Hermann when you return as he may attack you.

Peshek will tell you to take the ring to  Miller Woyzeck and teach you how to Pickpocket if you like. Once you've taken the ring to Miller Woyzeck he will fence items for you and sell you Lockpicks as well as train you if you wish.
