An Oath is an Oath is a Quest in Kingdom Come: Deliverance. The men are prepared, the trebuchet built and Istvan refuses to surrender. Talmberg must be conquered by force!

An Oath is an Oath Walkthrough
Due to previous battle, Henry might have taken some damage so it is advised to heal him first. When the preparations is finish, go and talk to Sir Divish. You will then have to go up the hill and go to the trebuchet and when it is loaded, fire the trebuchet by pulling the lever . Then Talk to Sir Robard and you'll get 450 groschen. Wait until the three-day bombardment is finished. Afterwards, return to Sir Robard and talk to him again then you will have to tell him that you're ready for the siege.
Go behind let the allies towards the castle walls upfront where ladders will be laid out. You can choose to be active in the battles, if so you need to be the first one to climb the ladder or if you want to achieve the Full Grace trophy, then you will have to avoid fighting so let the soldiers to use the ladders first. When you finished climbing and reach the top, the battles will begin. During the battle, it is advised that you take out the archers as soon as possible. If you plan to stick to the full grace trophy not having to fight, you must note that, the allied troops may lose their advantaged in numbers over time. After eliminating with all the opponents on the castle walls, the battle will move to the courtyard. It is advised to start by checking whether there are any archers around yet. Move more and don't let yourself to get surrounded by any group of enemies and let them fight with Captain Bernard.
When you win the battle, it will trigger a new cutscene. After watching it, go with Sir Hans towards Skalitz.You will find Sir Radzig along the way when traveling to Skalitz and the scene from the meeting will end this quest.
Tips & Tricks
- Do not worry about unfinished side quests as the game will allow you to do them after the main plot has been completed.
- During the battle, the hero is accompanied by Captain Bernard and he cannot die.
